Roads of the South is a live album by Bourexakis & Skretis, capturing their music in a recording session that took place at Yiali Tzami square in the old harbour of Chania.

The tracklist is a selection of traditional and popular tunes from all over Crete, east and west. The origins of tunes such as 'Haniotika sirta' are believed to date back to the 18th century, whereas melodies such as the ones found in 'Maleviziotis', 'Sousta' and 'Pentozali' are likely even older than that. 'San to Nero tou Potamou' and 'Gramvousa' belong to the more recent, late 20th century tradition.
